The Art Of The Audition & The Business Of The Art - Paul Weber workshop

Actress Petra Vukelić and Duart platform are bringing Paul Weber, one of the Hollywood's most respected casting directors, to Croatia! Paul Weber’s workshop THE ART OF THE AUDITION & THE BUSINESS OF THE ART is finally available in Croatia.

Paul Weber has developed a dynamic, practical and highly effective intensive program that demystifies the audition process and gives actors of every level, skills to achieve success in the audition room.

Paul is a member of CSA (Casting Society of America) and has worked as a consultant for MGM Studios. He has advised on numerous MGM features including the blockbuster James Bond franchise, as well as worked with numerous Hollywood A-list stars, such as Johhny Depp, Ryan Reynolds and Reese Witherspoon to name a few.

In this workshop Paul is going to talk about the „Anatomy of the audition“, i.e. what casting professionals expect from actors and what are the key elements to a successful audition. Through scene work and script analysis, Paul is going to show the participants of this masterclass how to empower themselves to do the winning performance, how to make the boldest, most effective choices in the room, how to handle rejection and how to embrace anxiety and make it work in your advantage.

Paul will also share some tips on how to jumpstart your career which includes tips for self-branding and marketing, tips about what makes quality headshots, showreels, CV. This workshop will also cover the topic of the Zoom/virtual auditioning in digital revolution era and how does it differ from the live audition. The participants will learn about self-tape auditions and how to make a most of them, especially during these challenging times.

The workshop will take place on October 10th from 5 do 9 pm on the Zoom platform.
